Congratulations to Katherine Vidal on her confirmation as Under Secretary for Intellectual Property and Director of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) at the Department of Commerce. The International Intellectual Property Alliance (IIPA), representing the major trade associations of the U.S. creative industries, strongly supports USPTO’s mission to promote stronger and more effective copyright protection around the world.
